Korean Masculinity

It was hard for me to get a picture of my students holding hands. When they saw my camera they moved. But I swear to you they were. They're buddies and here it's totally acceptable for boys, teens and grown men to hold hands, dance together, wrap their arms around each other or even lay next to each other (while drunk) in the street. It's so innocent. They have no idea that it's even an issue for westerners. hah.

In Korea it's completely ok for men to carry purses. And I don't mean a "murse" like some guys have back home. I mean a huge bag that is VERY feminine. This isn't a great shot, but it was the best I could get of this guy. I mean it's bad enough when they carry their girlfriend's purse, but there wasn't a girl in site of this guy. ha.
