Another Interesting Essay
If you don't want to read the whole thing, skip down to the 4th paragraph. It's a gem.
This is written by one of my middle schoolers. Her nickname is "beauty school". She loves to fix her hair in class and look at herself in the reflection of her cell phone.
Here is her essay, on the topic of "What is your idea of a perfect day?" just as she wrote it:
My idea of a perfect day is a date with my boyfriend. They I would go to Caribbean Bay. Of course not only me and my boyfriend, but I would go with my friends too. We would be play and eat and then we would be go to the Han River and light some firecrackers.
Me and my friends and my boyfriend's friends would have a lot of fun and I would wearing a bikini that boasts my nice body. That would be fun. When I think that then I'd be very excitement. Well, my friends are bad then the would be banter me, but that's ok beacuse that is a recollection.
We eould do the beach volleyball and eat yummy foods.. Boy team would be win but that's ok girl's team is not weak. We are strong. In Caribbean Bay have many yummy food in there. When we finished the beach volleyball then we would be eat delicious food and do the little bit suntan. I would be healthy girl.
Han River is very good to see at night. At night we would be buy some firecrackers and do the firecrackers. We make love make love is easy. We just do make L.O.V.E. and take a picture. Then would be make love. Then we go to home and sleep.
I think that day would be wonderful day and I would be more love my boyfriend and more friendly with my friends. but big problem is I don't have boy friend so go with Caribbean bay is just dream. But when I have my boyfriend I will go Caribbean Bay with boy friend must!!!

Haha! That is great. It actually makes me missing reading student essays, well....maybe not that much, just the really funny ones like this. Besides the humor of the whole love double meaning, I'd forgotten just how much Korean kids overuse/abuse the be verb. That strikes me as funny too. Let's just stick be in front of every verb. Thanks for making me laugh.
