Exhausted, but hungry.

After the hike we found a place to eat. It was inside someone's house. It was a little strange. The washroom had all their toilettries sitting around. Someone had recently taken a shower so we had to wear their little shower shoes so we didn't get our feet wet.

These are hot pepper paste pots. Its difficult to gage how large they are, but they're pretty huge. I was shocked to when I saw how much of the stuff they use. I guess it makes sense since they put it in most of their foods. The stuff needs to be kept outside so it can ferment. The clay pots have tiny holes in then which allow them the breathe so the stuff can ferment properly. I always thought they were kimchi pots, but those are burried in the ground. Yum.
