Goodbyes and Hellos

It was a really busy weekend. Friday night we had goodbye galabi with Ryan and Summer. We'll see you at your wedding at Jeju!!! Then I had to get up way too early on Saturday (for reasons I can't say here) No matter how difficult it is to get up in the mornings it does feel good to come home and know that I accomplished so much when I'd normally just be getting up.

Saturday night a bunch of wonderful people ended up at Tin Pan 2 (again) to dance the night away. I got home a 6am. It was great fun and for once everyone was in a great mood and all wanted to be there as much as the next guy. (I think the GIs being banned from Hongdae had something to do with it). The new Janghan-gu teachers seem great!

I somehow managed to drag myself out of bed in time to go with some teachers into Seoul to go to the 63 building and other stuff.

Along the way we discoverd that Korea surprisingly has some great gellato.

We stopped at the National Assembly building...

...and the huge and nasty fish market, where my pant bottoms got drenched in fish guts. (why am I the only one who doesn't like seafood? )

That picture didn't even cover a quarter of it! Luckily only the bottoms of my jeans got fish gutt-y. Although I was sliding around like a 4 year old on a slip and slide I managed not to fall.
