Matbagee

Ok, so my students are obsessed with this "Matbagee" character. The first month that I was here I didn't even pay any attention to what they were saying since it was in Korean. Then students from different classes, and all levels kept talking about it. The kept hitting themselves on the forehead in different ways and when one student would do it they'd all either laugh or join in. I finally started asking what the heck they were talking about. What I eventually got from it was that there are some guys on a "gag" show (live comedy) with big foreheads and they hit themselves over and over. Each one has a different name. (Matbagee-is the main one dressed in a belly top, and Daebagee, Olbagee and Galbagee are the other three-I'm not sure which one is which) Its so stupid, but is actually pretty funny because I see my students do it all the time.
