Another trip to the Orphanage

I went to the orphanage in Bundang with my church again on the weekend. We helped them out with spring cleaning and had a pizza party. They live in these little group apartments. There are about 5 kids in each one with one adult who cooks and takes care of them. It's amazing how they're just like a family. They fight and argue, but in the end they take care and help each other. The older ones are like parents and they're just so sweet. I melt inside when their little eyes look up at me and ramble on and on in Korea. Even after telling them that I don't understand they just keep going on like I might get it if they try hard enough. In the end they just grab my hand and show me what they're talking about.

As soon as we arrived, little Han-seul (the youngest of all the kids) pulled me over to the playground and had me push her on the swings. I was amazed at how much she's grown since the last time I was there. The girl on the right is Sa-jong. She can speak some English and she is very loving and helpful. She's one that is really good at taking care of the younger kids.

The pizza was delivered by Superman in a flamming convertable. Only in Korea...

It was a little too much for me, but the kids loved it.

Spending time at this orphanage just makes me think about other kids in other places that could actually need me. These kids are well taken care of and loved. I don't feel sorry for them. I know that I'm being pulled toward something. I don't know exactly what or where just yet since things are still in the works. I'm excited for the future.
