Ta Prohm

Ta Prohm is probably the most recognizable of the Cambodian temples thanks to the movie Tomb Raider. It was actually built as a Mahayana Buddhist monastery and university. Ta Prohm has been left in much the same condition in which it was found: nature taking over. The combination of trees growing out of the ruins and the jungle surroundings make it a little bit eerie and at the same time almost magical.

Nature was starting to get me too!
