The Elephant Terrace

The Elephant Terrace was King Jayavarman VII's base for his audience pavilions (which, being made of wood, have not survived) and reviewing stands.

We walked into this maze of walled sculptures. The bends and corners made it good for scaring people coming around unsuspecting. We thought It might be a little rude, so we decided against it.
