B.C.
I'm safe and sound in beautiful British Columbia. I've been hanging out with my aunt and cousin for the past two days. It's been so nice to catch up, relax and visit with some other long lost family.BC is great. It's easy to see why people come out here and never leave.
I've already been checking out the Asians though. It's been a little bit of a game I'm playing with myself. I call it "spot the Korean". I try to guess which ones are Korean, then I get up close enough to them to hear if they're speaking Korean. Usually, they're just speaking English and I know better than to ask where they're from. We were skating tonight and I was standing next to Korean speaking Koreans. I started talking to them. "oh you're Korean!! I'm a sangsanim (teacher) in Korea! I love Korea! I love Koreans!" Needless to say they thought I was crazy. Maybe I shouldn't play that game anymore.
I'm really happy to be on Canadian soil. One hour after landing I was sitting in Swiss Chalet. Two hours after landing I was sipping on a Tim Hortons coffee. That's the life.
