oh kids....
Today Buffy handed in her project on lizards. She did it on the Basilisk. Here is a quote from it:
" Basilisk is lives in Central America. It's name is "Basilisk" but in Bible Jesus is associate a walk on a water. Therefore it have other name "Jesus Lizard". I laughed pretty hard when I read this.
My senoir 1 class refused to read the words kiss, kissing or kissed when we were reading about the Frog Prince today. They would only spell them out. These are 12 year olds. I guess thats to be expected. They kept giggling and going red.
I sure am glad its the weekend. I don't think I could handle more than 5 days in a row. I'm exhausted.

HAHAHAHA, I had a similar experience with my kids. One of my gmaes in Telephone-Charades, and one of the scenarios I want them to act out is "You're at the movies with a girl, and you move to kiss her, but she slaps you!" and they're INFINITELY embarassed to act the "kiss" part. Often they would try and skip it and just go straight to the slap!
...other times, though, they got right into it, trying to use the person they were acting for as the girl, and go to kiss the other boy! :D hahahaa, when it worked, it was totally funny :P
that's so cute! have you noticed some korean stationary yet? the ones in english...there are so many quotes like, 'i love happy you are'and 'rain smiles falling to you'...etc. i love their stationary! it makes me laugh!!!!
