ME: Do you guys know what berries are? What kind of berries are there?

GRACE: Strawberries
ALEX: Raspberries
DAMON: Blueberries....

BRUCE: Teddyberries!!!

He knew that he was making a joke and I think he was so proud of himself when I thought it was hillarious.

ME: What is the capital of China?

JORDAN: Mexico?

(The class was laughing so hard when I showed him on the map where China is and where Mexico is.)

I have a student who recently did a homestay in Prince George, B.C.

He asked me what a yeast infection was. He told me that the kids in his class were writing it on the board and wouldn't tell him what it meant. He said that he hadn't asked anyone else about it or looked it up in his dictionary. I told him that it was something that girls can get and that he doesn't need to know exactly what it is. He was satisfied with that answer.



I love these kids.
