Letter from Korea

One of my wonderful middle schoolers sent me this cute email yesterday. I miss them a lot! I really hope I get the same class when I return.

YoungDo new teacher is not funny.ㅠㅠBut........handsome.

These pictures are a little out dated, but I thought I'd post them with this letter since the girl is in this class. About a month before I left Korea I had a party with my middle schoolers. I took them out for dinner and then we had a little movie/snack party at my place. We had a great time. I was a little hesitant to have them over at my place at first, but it worked out well in the end. It's funny how in Canada you'd be put in jail if you tried to have a party at your house with your students. In Korea they actually encourage it! If there is something that will get the kids more enthousiastic about learning English then you do it. The parents loved it.
