Just another day
Today...
* after a little girl kept pointing, laughing and saying "big hip! you have a big hip!" (hip=butt to koreans) I finally said "you have a big head". Her friends laughed at her. I felt much better.
* is teacher's day (well tomorrow actually is) but our mon/wed/fri students brought us gifts today since they won't see us tomorrow. A boy in my class brought me this really nicely wrapped gift with a note from his mom. Inside was 7 pairs of nylon stockings. SO strange! I kept thinking "what does this mean?" "is it hint that my legs need to be covered?"
* another boy brought me a HUGE box of gourmet brownies.
* Ashleigh (not my sister, but a student who wanted the same name as her) gave me a gift. The note attached said "Thank you for your teaching. I always love you and congratulation teacher's day! I hope you and Wentworth love FOREVER" (I told them that I met Wentworth and that we're boyfriend/girlfriend. They just eat it up. Everyday they ask me if we kissed.) I love how they'll believe me about anything I say. haha. Anything to keep things interesting for myself.
* I somehow managed to get a mosquito bite on the bottom of my foot. Asian mosquitoes absolutely love me. The bites swell up so big its ridiculous.
* I'm surprising myself at how well I'm handling spicy food. Yesterday I went out for Indian and managed not to die. Today I stirred all my kojujang into my dolsotbap and actually enjoyed it.
* I'm really trying to have patience with someone. Its SO difficult. I came really, really close to losing it today. I'll just have to stay away for the rest of the week. I can't say more, as it will just fuel the fire. Its in this case that I'm so thankful for the great people that also work at my hagwan.

I can picture the "big head" line being dropped all over that little pipsqueak. Ohhhhhhhh...splendid!
Trying not to lose it with anyone I know?
